Quartz City Warranty
Quartz City Ltd offers a 10-year manufacturer warranty to the original owner of the worksurface purchased. The warranty is valid from the original date of purchase. To register your warranty, you must have a valid receipt or invoice from an Approved Fabricator. Warranties only apply to the original purchaser and the first installation.
Customers are advised to read and understand the maintenance instructions of our stone. Quartz City will not be liable for, and this warranty does not apply in the event of; any failure, defect or damage, connected with misuse, abuse, neglect or improper handling or storage. The quartz warranty covers any manufacturing defects. We will repair or replace the defective Quartz City slab if any manufacturing defect occurs during the warranty period.
Please note that discontinued colours are NOT covered by our 10-year warranty.
This warranty does not cover:
Quartz City slabs are durable and are designed to not crack with everyday use.
However, the slabs may be susceptible to cracking in the following circumstances;
- Heavy impact
- Uneven cabinets or flooring
- Structural settling or movements
- Thermal shock
- Improper installation
Any cuts within the worksurface/island for example sink cut out or hob cut out, corners must be at a 45-degree angle. Slabs not cut at this angle will be void of warranty terms.
Don't cut a right angle directly as you risk to crack the slab. Drill a hole before the cutting. Failure to comply with the fabrication conditions will void your warranty.
Cracks in the surface after installation are not indicative of defective material.
