Quartz City · Your information
Privacy policy
How Quartz City handles your information when you browse, get in touch or register a warranty.
Updated 15 September 2026
Who we are
Quartz City Ltd is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us about privacy at sales@quartzcity.co.uk or write to 18 Leighton Road, Kentish Town, London, NW5 2QE.
This notice covers our website enquiries, showroom bookings, sample requests, fabricator applications and warranty registrations.
Information we collect
When you contact us or complete a form, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, address, company details, preferred appointment, colours of interest and enquiry message, as applicable.
Warranty registrations also include the fabricator, purchase date, stone name, thickness and the receipt or invoice you upload. Please avoid including information that is not needed for your request.
Our website and its service providers also receive technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, pages visited, referring website and campaign information. Enquiry tracking can associate this information with calls, email-link clicks and submitted forms.
How we use your information
We use your information to answer enquiries, arrange sample requests and viewings, manage fabricator relationships, administer warranties and keep records of our communications.
Where your request relates to a purchase or service, this processing supports a contract or steps you ask us to take before a contract. We also rely on our legitimate interests in handling general business enquiries, keeping appropriate records and protecting the website against abuse. Where a legal obligation applies, we process information to meet it.
We use enquiry attribution to understand which pages and campaigns generate enquiries. Where consent is required for tracking, that use requires your consent. If we rely on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Website services & cookies
The site uses the following services:
- OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare provide website hosting, enquiry storage and storage of uploaded warranty receipts.
- Microsoft 365 delivers enquiry notifications to our sales mailbox and supports our email correspondence.
- Google reCAPTCHA checks form submissions for spam and abuse, using technical and interaction information. Google Maps powers the fabricator finder and processes the location or search information used with it.
- WhatConverts provides enquiry attribution and dynamic phone numbers. It can receive browsing and campaign information, call information, email-link events and the details entered in sample, viewing and fabricator enquiry forms. Uploaded warranty receipts are not passed to this tracking integration.
- Behold supplies the Instagram feed. Your browser loads feed images from its image service. Links to Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp open services with their own privacy notices.
Cookies and similar technologies may be used for security, sessions and enquiry attribution. Your browser lets you inspect, restrict or delete cookies; blocking some technologies may affect site features. Browser controls alone do not prevent every kind of information exchange with a service. Contact us if you would prefer to make an enquiry directly.
Read the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for Google services.
Who receives information
Authorised people handling your enquiry and the service providers described above receive the information needed for their role. If you ask us to involve a fabricator in your project, relevant details may be shared to help with that request. Information may also need to be disclosed where the law requires it or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Our technology providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside the UK. The applicable arrangements depend on the provider, including adequacy decisions or contractual safeguards where required. Contact us for details about the arrangements relevant to your information.
How long information is kept
Retention depends on why the information is held: whether an enquiry is still active, whether it leads to a purchase or business relationship, the applicable warranty period, and any accounting, legal or dispute-related requirements. Warranty records may need to be kept throughout the applicable warranty period and longer where needed for a claim or legal obligation.
You can contact us to ask about the information held for your enquiry and whether it can be deleted. Deletion may not be possible while a valid reason to retain the information remains.
Your choices & rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct your personal information, have it erased, restrict its use, receive a portable copy, or object to processing. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it. Email sales@quartzcity.co.uk to make a request. We may need to verify your identity.
Required form fields are marked. If you do not provide the details needed for a request, we may be unable to arrange it or validate a warranty registration. You can contact us directly to discuss another way to provide them.
Spam checks may prevent a form from being submitted. If this happens, contact our team by email or phone for help.
Questions, complaints & updates
Please contact us first if you have a concern about your information. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
We may update this notice as our website or services change. The date above shows when this version was updated.
